Hi Guys, I know this thread as been on before but I've just bought myself a 2018 imala734 and its sitting on 15" steel wheels at the moment, ive read all the spec and it can be done 5 x 118 so I'd like to change and run on 16" but not sure whether to go for 215 x 75 x 16 or go wider 225 x 75 x 16 have read this forum and people have done this back in 2017 but haven't said what width they went for. If you have gone to 16" I'd love your opinion, many thanks Buster

Hi don't know if you are interested but I have 4 Fiat alloys from my 2019 pvc. Perfect condition low mileage 225x75x16. Regards fred

I swapped 15" steel wheels to the standard fiat light chassis Alloys on my last van. Size was 225/75/16 (5x 118) , no issues whatsoever. the speedo was also bang on with my Satnav and phone satnav app.

Tyres from a 2019 PVC might be date of manufacture in 2018. Potentially nearing replacement solely due to age. Check the dates.

This doesn't apply to you unless you have seating for 9+ passengers
This means failures for tyres over 10 years old on the front axle of any vehicles with 9 or more passenger seats, and any single wheels of a minibus (9-16 passenger seats). These vehicles will also fail if they do not display a legible date code on in-scope tyres

Likewise. Better ride, sot on speedo reading and a small bonus in that the tow bar is slightly higher reducing the risk of grounding.
