Aldi inverter for £28

Don't know about this one but the one we got about 8 years ago is still going strong and runs Johns CPAP

They will probably be reduced in the next few weeks . They also have the Stoplock Pro Elite reduced down to £12.99 .
Around £60 in other places

No idea what the modified sine wave thing means! I'm looking for something to allow me to use my work laptop and £28 is far cheaper than the 12v power supply for a surface laptop of about £90 so wondering if the Aldi thing could work?

Computers usually have good regulated power supplies so will probably work. I was given some computer UPS units once and they were modified sine wave. (uninterrupted power supplies)
