correct..That's a coincidence, someone has recently posted a thread about where to stop in Suffolk.
This looks like like the Slaughden Rd 'site' that apparently doesn't allow overnight sleeping.
great fishing yes..Great place to stop over. Some good fishing off the beach there.
Also the best fish and chips just up the road.
The road is listed as a council car park in the link I posted on the other thread. The upper road has signs saying no motorhomes but I wonder if the lower road belongs to the yacht club?
Jim both lower and upper roads are listed as slaughden road, but as these motorhomes are clearly overnighting and there's no signage on the lower road, that's what's make me think it's not council owned.great fishing yes..
best fish n chips... no.. had them several times and chips and fish batter were both soggy ..

you maybe correct Ian, but looking at this street view it looks like a Suffolk Council Parking signJim both lower and upper roads are listed as slaughden road, but as these motorhomes are clearly overnighting and there's no signage on the lower road, that's what's make me think it's not council owned.
Totally agree about the fish & chipsGreat place to stop over. Some good fishing off the beach there.
Also the best fish and chips just up the road.
The lower road is nothing to do with the Council and according to the traffic warden (when we checked before staying) is okay to park overnight. It's a different story for the upper car park - no overnight parking allowed. As for the Fish and Chips. Blooming awful when we had them last summer.Totally agree about the fish & chips
