Another problem has just appeared the other day. heating and hot water was working. still works on electric but not on gas anymore. I have the Alde 3000 compact system. When you switch it on gas nothing no noise. After googling symptoms it said pressure fan as it creates pressure to open the valve for the gas and ignites. Question is will it be an expensive repair. or what else can i check. i have 12v to the boiler but not open lid off boiler yet. Just been made redundant temporary till after new year so money is going down quick. any help appreciated thanks.

This is from the Alde manual on their site,

There are videos on you tube on doing a boiler hard reset and changing the fan if necessary, not to difficult 🙂 but once you have the cover off you can check how far the current is getting with a tester👍

Started working again. Don't know if it was a low leisure battery if it needs a min voltage. But had the vehicle started and running for a while and thought I'd give the boiler another try and it fired straight up so am happy with that. Will be checking battery voltage and solar for charge status next. Thanks

Had the same problem on my Alde system, the fan fault message appeared.
It was dead flies in the combustion fan area, located fan, vacuumed the flies, reassembled and everything works perfect.
You can find how to dismantle Alde combustion fan on Youtube
