Can anyone advise how to operate the alde heat exchanger while driving?

Reading the manual it says there is a valve under the floor next to the drivers seat, but doesn’t seem to lift up?

Appreciate if any e line owners , could offer any advice.

There’s a panel to the right of the driver’s seat (right hand drive) with a thumb hole in it. Lift it out and the heat exchanger is underneath, in the step of the original cab. Valve should be inline with the pipe work to allow water to flow from engine into heat exchanger.

To circulate through the habitation system, turn up the temperature on the Alde control panel so that the pump kicks in, and switch off the gas and electric options on the control panel.

It works on mine, and it works very well.

Thanks I will have another go tonight, had a go yesterday and the panel didn’t lift out, it was as though something was fastened underneath. Just got the van, but loving already!!

They can at first be awkward to lift out. It may move slightly backwards or forwards as it lifts, any you probably need to lift the whole panel keeping the top level rather than trying to lift just the front. It’s not fixed in, it just sits there.
