Lots but slow learner.
Maybe a obvious answer to those that know but i don't so chance asking a stupid question.

On the Alde control panel i have a setting that says 1kw 2 kw and 3 kw.
What do i acheive if i reduce it from say 3 to 2 or to 1 ?
Genuine question.

Assuming you are on hook up the lower the number the slower the boiler will heat up.
When we are on hook up I just keep it on 2kw….

It literally limits the power used by the Alde system to what you select

From memory I think 1Kw = approx 4A

As said above though heating is next to useless on a cold day set at 1Kw, but we find hot water works well at 1Kw

Understanding now. Thanks.
The site i'm on must be on low things as when i put two or 3 electrical items on it trips in the main box.
So i have just lowered it to 1Kw.
I don't shower in the Van, my choice. If i had to or was forced i i would and would not have a problem with it, i just don't.

For the sake of economy, we usually only use 1kw. That still means scalding hot water in minutes. After the showers we turn it off and still have hot water for washing up all day.
