Alde Compact 3000

Hi,
Can anyone help me, I have the Alde Compact 3000, the heating side of the boiler is working great, but I can’t get any hot water to the taps from it.
I didn’t drain it over winter ( stupid I know) what could possibly need replacing if that has caused damage?

Does your system have an automatic dump valve: one that opens and drains the water if the temperature drops close to freezing? That is usually the first thing to check.

Are you getting cold water through the hot tap? That will at least confirm water in boiler and no airlock

I have the 3010 so possibly a bit different but if we have heating we get hot water by default as it can’t be turned off

Can't help out with the question but I have had a couple of issues with ALDE before and called their helpline. Very good explained about the issue I had and sorted it out over the phone. Might be worth a quick call.

If there's water in the boiler it automatically gets heated by the heating fluid so not sure what's going on
