Hi guys.
I've done a search before posting this and can't find anything that describes my situation. I've got alde heating, with the 3020 control panel.

When I try and prioritise gas, and set the delay, it switches on at the correct time, but it's trying to heat at 3kw instead of gas. I'm not on hook up and the gas is turned on and working. It's coming through the cooker and it works on the fridge.

Also, when I turn the control panel off, it sometimes doesn't store the time and goes to 19:00. Regardless of what time it is. Hope this all makes sense to some one.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I should also add, when I manually select gas, it works fine. It's just not prioritising it.

If you are not on hook up why not just turn off electric 👍

There are so many settings that I think might compete with each other , keep it simple

I've been trying to turn off the electric side of it. But it keeps switching back to electric instead of gas. The issue I'm having is that I want to run the heating on gas but it keeps resetting to electric.

I want to set a timer for the heating to come on at a specific time. I was testing it earlier to make sure the timer worked OK, and I set it to come on with gas. But it keeps coming on with the electric.

I just don't understand when I set it to come on with gas, it's like it defaults back to electric everytime.

Ours is a 3010 but with a similar controller to yours , can you not set electric to ‘off’

We only use the night setting for timers so I am presuming the 3020 gives more options, sometimes less really is best 👍

Yeah i get what you mean. The less options something has, the less chance there is of things going wrong eh?

On the 3020, it has a delay setting. So you can set it to come on for a specific time amd day in the future. You can prioritise gas or electric, and everytime I put it to gas when it comes on at the time it's set for, it defaults back to electric.

Thanks for your comments. In the morning I'll try using the day/night setting instead of the delay, and see if that helps.
