Alde 3010/3020

Hi, just had to have a new boiler fitted by Alde because the previous owner of my Burstner had the system filled with an incorrect mixture of antifreeze which had corroded some of the seals. So Alde removed and tested these parts from my boiler. I am now attempting to recover some of my costs. The control display is the newest version and only six months old. All items are £75 each plus p&p... save a fortune .. Kind Regards Pete

When you say the system was filled with an incorrect mixture do you have any more information on what it was filled with please? Just conscious that it could be an innocent mistake any of us could make so if you know what they used???

Hi Alde stated that it was a 70% plus mixture that was put into the system.. correct fluid but just too high concentrate. Ruined the seals on the boiler filament pipes.. slow but destructive..

All I will ever do now is to have it serviced by Alde in Northamptionshire.. once every 2 years.. no one else ....

I still have one as I had 2 ..the fault was not in the panel as initially thought by Alde .. so yes I still have a control panel available. Regards Pete

So was this the original or the replacement?

Does it come with the blanking plate needed when swapping out the old style?

I bought the controller from Pete, took my MH to Alde for a fluid change and they also fitted the controller for me, including finding the ‘extra’ fascia

Alde are by far the best service provider I have come across in the industry

Depends what antifreeze is in at the moment.
Old stuff is two year antifreeze, new stuff is five year.

As OP has just been serviced he will be 5 years

Alde only use five year product and don’t like or understand why anybody uses the 2 year option

Hi guys .. yes Armytwowheels it is yours if you can let me know asap. I am off to France for 3 months next week. I would not consider going anywhere other than Alde themselves for service etc..especially after my experience which turned out costly. They are excellent.
