After Perusing the forum I decided that E&P levellers came out as the top choice from the posts that I read, I checked online and there was a dealer just 7km from home, I whisked off an email and promptly got an offer back ................ for a system that I had never heard of, no explanation, no comparison, nothing, the price was ok, but it was a bit take it or leave it, so I left it...
I emailed a few other suppliers and had an instant reply from AL-KO in Austria ( It´s next door ), I had a nice guy called Christian who wanted to try his English (excellent by the way), he went through the options, explained the system to me, which was separate units on each corner so no long hose runs or holes in the MH, I was impressed enough to book, I called in November and we made a date that suited us both in Feb, contracts were swiftly exchanged.
Feb 8th saw me driving 80km to Ramsau im Zillertal and the AL-KO factory and customer centre, arriving at 07:15 in the morning, at 07:20 the workshop opened and I was waved in. The whole system was laid out ready to go, I went off to the waiting are and they got to work, the workshop was surgically clean by the way.
The waiting area was comfortable with sofas and a coffee machine, the village was a few minutes' walk away and the Zillertal Bahn light railway stopped right by the factory, It was a bit (bloody) cold so I didn´t stray far but in the summer, it would make an excellent day out while the work was being completed.
Everything was done by 15:30, the run through of the unit was done and off I went home.
I haven´t played with the system much other than a few tests but it works fine with the cable remote and the phone app.

Cost: € 7,100 including the weighing function (€400 option), not cheap but well worth it for me, getting the MH absolutely level so that herself can move around easily inside with the wheelchair has always been a pain and never quite right, this is a game changer for us.
I went with the weighing option as we are 3500kg max, up-plating is not an option due to the cost of re-testing and the increased running costs of being over 3500, I can play with the axle loading and overall weight to

Hi Roby2008 ,
That looks impressive but seeing as you are tight for weight how much extra has it added especially considering that you have units on each corner and a connecting beam rather than mounting directly onto the chassis.

Looks really great, I know loads have them fitted ,but I just can’t justify the £7k cost, but every one to their own priorities.

It is tight but we have a few 100kgs to play with after full loading, it´s a catch 22, I can´t go over the weight as the cost is prohibitive but after 10yrs of messing with ramps etc the comfort factor for madame and the hassle factor for me, the loss of payload is worth it, there are only 2 of us and no pets/kids so it will be fine.

it was 7k in Euros so a bit cheaper ....but seriously it was a big decision to make and if it wasn´t for the wheelchair issue, then it would not have been done, a little bit off level is fine normally but in a wheelchair it is enough to spoil the whole day/evening, you can´t do anything if you need a hand on a wheel or have to have the brakes on all the time etc.
