Al-Ko Kober AL-KO Sawiko 130kg Ligero scooter carrier, originally fitted to my Fiat Chassis based Autotrail but will fit any Fiat based Motorhome /Van, Once fitted it can be removed in minutes, it has been stored in my garage over the winter or whenever I wanted to take a trip without it fitted.
Loading is a piece of cake, 130Kg carrying capacity so will take any of the 125/150 scooters that you may want for your holidays, the bike can be attached in minutes and is very secure. Supplied with all the chassis brackets, fixing bolts, clamps, fixing arms, loading ramp, extra cycle track, full assembly/ wiring diagrams etc. All you need is the electrical socket on the vehicle to plug it into. The extra cycle track lets you use it as a two bike rack if you wanted to leave the scooter at home, or one cycle and the scooter but not forgetting the 130kg weight limit.
Which brings me to one of the BEST things about this scooter rack it weighs only about 40% of most tow bar mounted scooter racks, much more stable, weighing approx 24kg it could save you 50-60 kg which is not to be sniffed at when pay load is an issue with most motorhomes. The carrier can be taken apart to make transportation easier.
