If thinking about visiting the February Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC Birmingham http://www.ccmshow.co.uk/caravan-ca...qWqX1c-rN9hq1kQG6vaCsISvricyduhAaAkbBEALw_wcB then can book a double room at the Airport Travelodge https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/519/Birmingham-Airport-hotel?checkIn=23/02/18&checkOut=24/02/18&rooms[0][roomId]=888k4kikshpjjd&rooms[0][adults]=2&rooms[0][children]=0&rooms[0][extras][0]=&lozenges=&strikeThroughShown=1 for just £25.90 - £32.90 per night using discount code JANSALE18 & possible 5-10% cashback via Quidco too :xThumb: Be quick though as ends at midnight (29th December) tomorrow! It works for selected Travelodge stays between 1st January - 12th April 2018.

We have used this hotel several times before & just checked with them on 02031954886 about the car parking charges as they are incorrect on the website listing! We are told that it's still £7.50 per day to park in NCP Car Park 7 next door by showing your ticket at hotel reception for a validation ticket when leaving & submitting both on exit - they are trying to make this process simpler so worth checking once there. By showing the parking ticket we can also use the free shuttle bus to the airport which is then just a short undercover walk into the NEC halls (can stock up with survival supplies at the M&S Simply Food :)) for the Show. If for some reason we can't use the courtesy bus then there is a cheap hopper bus service just across the road or drive into the NEC car parks if preferred.

Just need some tickets now so if anyone gets sent any complimentary ones that they don't want sure us & others could make good use of them! :giggle: Will look out for any ticket prize draws too - please post if you spot any.

Bump - discount code for any Travelodge bookings runs out at midnight tonight.

Can not remember which hotel chain we used, but the year we went to the nec it was well worth it. Nothing worse then a long drive home after a long day at the show.

Have used Premier Inn & Holiday Inn Express before but at least double the cost for these dates even if booking well in advance. The Travelodge is a little further away but using the bus in & back (if staying a couple of days) is quick & easier than getting stuck in the traffic around the NEC.
