Airport parking in Languedoc, France

Good morning, I need to park the motorhome (7.3m) for a week this summer and transfer to a rental car for various reasons. Near Beziers. I was thinking best option might be to park at an airport as that will give us access to hire car companies. Does anyone know if any of the airports round there have parking for a motorhome? Any of the airports within an hour or so would be fine: Montpellier, Beziers, Carcassonne, Nimes. Toulouse.

Can't help with parking but have you checked with your insurance, most policies have a limit of 48 hours if leaving the van unattended away from its normal storage place.

EDIT: I checked for someone else recently and from the 12th of sept till 15th included, it was 50,52 euros if my memory serves me well

Toulouse would be totally fine as on the route we are taking in. Thanks for the help!

It will be at Blagnac Airport , and on Parking 4 or 5 which are indicated on every signs when on spot

ok got it now, that is very helpful, thank you. Beziers airport would definitely be better as it is nice to have it closer so if you had the time to check it would be very much appreciated. :giggle:

Well it's summer time. I had the man in charge of it all on the phone, and he gave me the exact amount, so you better rely on the amount I gave you (for toulouse that is!)

Here is the result of my call
7,3m no problem
Only on Parking P2
Price: 1 day (I guess 24h) : 15 euros
3 days: 27 euros
1 week : 51 euros

Hi, can't speak for the parking at Beziers airport but there are a number of secure storage depots for caravans & motorhomes etc very close to the airport.

Hi there, could you post details or names of these storage facilities please as I did an internet search in that area & didn't come up with anything?:unsure:

Yes, I'm also interested. Planning on using Beziers airport but definitely open to other ideas if secure and a reasonable price.

What word did you search for ? It should have been "gardiennage".
The first 2 that come to mind are both in the village of Portiragnes which is right next to the airport.
Suggest you search for Biget Loisirs which will take you to his FB page. Bit out of date as his 2016 tariff is shown !
Next one is Le King Gardiennage, his current price list shows 40 euro a month for your size vehicle but maybe he would give you a weekly price.
The guy at Biget doesn't speak much English, don't know about Le King.

P.S. I did my search under the Hivernage term....
