Has any one used Aires in Belgium? I want to see the Atomium in Brussels and the nearest is at Grimbergen. Has anyone been there?

When we did Brussels we stayed at the Heyssel stadium but thats not allowed now.

Whereever we got off the tram, was not a nice place. Sometimes it is easy to forget in these big cities that some areas you wouldnt want to leave your motorhome.

I be tempted to find a trainline in or cycle in and overnight outside

I would not recommend driving inside the ring road at Brussels it's a Low Emission zone and a lot of the inner ring roads are underground would drive to the Atonium and park there to view it then head back out again to an aire nearby. Mechelen is not too far away and a great little medieval town with a brewery there is an aire on the outside of the walled city by the cinema/sports complex.
