I’m interested in fitting air suspension…. Has anyone got any advice please? Is it possible to fit to both front and rear?

Speak to Mick at SAP in Doncaster, sure he will advise.

What is your reason for the air suspension? Improve the ride/handling, increase payload or pseudo levelling aid? The response will depend on your answer! 🤔😉

At the moment getting the van onto my driveway is tricky as it scrapes the chassis at the front under the drivers side. (Alco chassis) I’ve tried driving in and reversing.
I’ve a huge payload as it’s up plated and it has self levellers so it’s not for either reason.

I've got VB 4C full air suspension, but it was mainly for comfort. It's not got a huge amount of lift, but probably enough to clear a driveway hump.

The cheaper and low complexity alternative might be uprated springs.

My 2020 low mileage boxer sat low at the back , I bought a basic kit £199 added some solenoid valves,a compressor, two switches sensors and dual digital gauge around £75 to be able to raise or lower each side from the drivers seat both for site levelling and various road / load conditions..the ride is very difference is massive, also with it fully up getting under the van is possible.

I assume that's semi-air. Just replacing the bump stops? I did that in the previous van. And I just left the valves manually adjusted with a bike pump. Only took a couple of minutes to inflate both sides. It lifted the rear, improved the handling. But I didn't notice a huge ride comfort improvement, except on the gnarliest potholes.

Mine with 25k miles and a relatively easy former life was not far off bumpstops before conversion , if I let it down while driving (don't try this at home) the ride difference is immediately noticeable, the bike pump or air line would would render up/ down ,left / right very awkward so make use for levelling either for load road or site was my thinking

I would suggest you speak to Courtside Conversion, Tiverton.

We had VB Air and E&P jacks fitted by SAP and were never happy with the jacks or SAPs help.

Ian at Courtside knew what the problem was from my description and fixed everything in minutes. We will be using Courtside in future.

Ok ideal I’m in Exeter so that’s just up the road from me.
