Air suspension gauges

From memory I'm sure it is 4mm

Dunlop use 4mm, but from memory when I bought my kit there was a lot of information on Marcle Leisure's website and ISTR there are two sizes in common use, but their site has crashed at the moment and not accessible,

A bit late in this thread but Tyrepal sensors will work just from the shaking as soon as you move off. They do not need to rotate. I had one fitted to a spare wheel and it reported just fine.
I'm liking this idea seeing as we already have a tyre pal solar fitted. I wonder if you can just add 2 more sensors?

I think on the solar model the main 4 tyres come up on one screen and then it goes to the second screen with the next two, I looked at the solar for monitoring 6 wheels and that is what they told me.

I have the basic VB semi-air system but would also like to add gauges. It would be nice to see a step by step guide of how you do yours. Just so I can copy like (y).
Will do Steve , but it might now get to April or May when we get back from Spain . ?Hopefully someone else will do it before me and I can follow them ?

Thanks Martin, I think that's the route I'm going to take because it's my understanding that it's just movement that wakes the sensors up and not specifically rotation.

This is from the manual of TB99,

Martin

6. OPERATION
In normal operation, with the vehicle in motion, the sensors check the tyre pressures and temperatures every six seconds. If a tyre pressure is falling, data is transmitted to the monitor immediately to give an alert. If the pressure is not falling, data is only sent to the monitor every five minutes. This is to save the sensor batteries.
6.1 Sleep mode

The monitor has a motion detector that automatically shuts it down when the vehicle is not in use, and wakes it up when it senses vibration like the opening of the car door. The sensors only transmit while the wheels are turning.

And then somewhere else they say,

ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
Additional external TCSO sensors can be purchased to monitor the spare wheel,

I think you are most likely right but they do contradict themselves.

Home now and stripped the boxing out hiding the air pipes.

Ive measured the od and it’s a fraction over 6mm.

Would I be correct in thinking this would be 4mm id.

just wanted to make sure I get all the correct stuff in one go.

Im looking to but 2 T
A couple of M of pipe
2 gauges was hoping to get these in a shaped holder.

I saw some somewhere and can’t find the flipping things now ?

This is the system that’s fitted

Can someone confirm any fittings will be measured on the outside of the tubbing.

My tube is a touch over the 6mm.

Just want to make sure I’m ordering the correct stuff ?

Yes it's external diameter of the tubing that relates to the size of the fittings.

I have a couple of lengths of 6mm tubing 3.5 metres long that your welcome to for nowt, one blue, one black left over from when I fitted my system.

Thank you and thanks for the offer.

Think I’ll just order some as I want to keep the same colours as fitted.

Well now I have received the pipe and the push fittings I can tell the pipe might be the right size but there is no way it will fit the fittings both are 4 mm so I guess there is a different way to measure these things ie 4mm pipe needs a 6 mm fitting if that makes sense maybe the pipe is an internal measure and the fittings are an external measure . Are there any pneumatic engineers out there that can explain it ?
