Air Fryer from 2000 watt inverter

We're currently trying an old one which is 1400w, works OK, and uses surprisingly little power, I have measured it using a smart socket and it seems to be about 0.3kwh for a decent portion of fries and battered chicken strips, as once up to temperature the heat is just blown around, until it cools down again.
We have about 400w of solar and 246ah gel batteries, which also powers the kettle, hairdryer and charges e bikes.

Yes we run a 900w air fryer off a 2000w inverter, works good

I'm assuming 1400w is the air fryer? And is that a 2000w inverter?

We run a 1000w Tower airfryer from a 1500w inverter.

That's impressive - "they" say that, as a rule, the inverter should be 2x the wattage of the appliance.

Anyway, good to know.

I will raise the stakes..
1000w fryer and an 1100w Inverter on 2 x 90amp varta lead batteries.
Been using it on and off for a few years now, mainly to do the grandsons fries at rallies.
Lots tell me i should not do it BUT to late now...

The logic here seems to be wrong. It's either 1.4 kW or .3 kW and unlikely to be the latter.

Yes BUT for us young folk with proper eyesight would have spotted. 0.3 kw H. notice the H. 👍👍😁
