hi all, in Portugal for the next 9 weeks, started up this morning air back light came on (check Airback light see manual) 2019 Burstner on the 2.3 150 hp heavy chassis 27700 miles owned from new service by Adams Morey?

Common problem, depending on make model and year,
If you do a search there are lots of threads on it.

Yes many thanks for that, typically I left my blue driver plug back home but I don’t think that would. Reset it anyway, marvels of modern technology!!

You could try disconnecting the cab battery negative for 30 minutes and allowing the ecu to reset itself.
You never know your luck.

Is it still on the original factory fitted cab battery? If so it's worth checking to make sure you haven't got a maintained type of battery, unless you already know the type you have. The maintained one's suffer from a lack of maintenance presenting as being low in electrolyte levels. This causes plate sulphation and then a serious voltage drop when cranking the engine from cold. There's a theory this then in turn takes out the ECU.
Mike.

Yes it is still the original cab battery, it has never been allowed to run down as our van licves in a garage at the bottom of our garden so it can be maintained.

Maybe check wiring under front seats if you haven’t done so all ready , mine got trapped a year ago
when spining seat round . Reconnected broken and light went out .
