Living the dream.
A friend here in Spain has just bought a Mercedes base moho with a Firestone air assist full system. What’s the loaded pressure you run at please?

Empty the van of everything not fixed measure the rear jacking points to the ground, load up everything for your trip pump the air up to the same height as empty is a good starting point. Don’t drive the van with no air in or you may damage the airbags.

Not likely to happen as they live in it and it’s just taken a few days to transfer there gear from their caravan

Thanks for the idea.

Not sure on the make of mine Paul and it’s of course a fiat but I’m heavy on he back and run it around 2 &half bar, any less then 2bar it bumps….🤔

Our 8m Mercedes rapido used to be fine at 1.5 to 2 bar. Our present downsized ford seems to need a similar pressure while being smaller and lighter. Trial and error seems the best way, and adjust as necessary ie increase when full of wine.

Every van, every load level, and every semi-air system is different. I'd let all the air out and measure the ride height. Then slowly increase the pressure (maybe 0.25 bar, 4 psi) increments. It'll stop rising when it's approaching maximum pressure. Then start at roughly half. You want it to support you on the corners, but not become harsh.

If it has an analogue gauge, it'll give you a very rough indication of the range of pressures. But be careful, my maximum pressure according to the instructions was only about 70% on my gauge. I found 25% (about 1.25 bar) was good for me. But I was using EasyTop air, which I think are quite large bellows, and my van was small and light.
