I ended up going to the nearby Eden Vets as already booked in a cpl of days after I posted for £175. Typical !!! we are now in Blaine’s Spain heading south over the next month before heading home in February and have had the dog registered to our friends outside Limoges where the local vet will issue the passport for €38 now she’s on the database. Good luck enjoy your trip

Hi everyone,

went this morning in a bit of a rush. Had an appointment for 10 am , somehow Nikki and I slept in till 09.33!! jumped out got dressed loaded Betty in and away we went to meet Tom;
Simple process, he came to the car, saw betty scanned her and then we went in to his house to collect the paperwork.

Tom is a vet who is locum in practices in the area. He is a really nice young chap who operates this from his house. The process is that we sent him over the evidence by email he needed, he then filled it all in and we checked it on arrival. we rang when we were at his house and he came out. Despite having 9 or 11 pages (depending where your point of entry is) its really simple stuff so easier enough to follow.

The pros- Tom seems like a great guy, he's 10 mins from our house, he charges 85 for the first and then just 70 for any subsequent ones. It's easy for us as it means we don't have to book at Abbeywell in Folkestone so can now travel as we please.
The Cons- It's a housing estate, a nice one with allocated parking for each house. If you needed to go in your MH it would need to be a small one. Best parking on the entrance to the estate and walking down. However, to be fair, I think Tom would walk to your motorhome to conduct the transaction in there.
