Just took my Exis for MOT yesterday and it failed! The plastic lever on the seat base that locks the seat in the forward position had broken as I stepped on it. Can I find anyone who sells seat spares? No! I have been told I might need a new seat swivel but even they are impossible to find (why are there so many?). Been on to Brownhills with VIN number etc. They say it is a Ducato part. It is not. All this for a plastic part probably costing less than £1. Can anyone help?

Here is a picture of the drivers side clip

What seats have you got ISRI or Aguti?
I would contact the seat manufacturer.

They are Aguti, but no-one seems to stock anything like it. I may as tonyidle suggests try and make one

I might be able to make one. Have you got more pictures of what’s broken. I can’t work out what’s broken from the pictures in the OP

The reason you can't work out what's broken is that that picture is of the driver's side. Passenger side broken - pictures below. I removed it this morning.

That sounds good. 15.5cm. Do you want me to send you the 2 pieces? at the moment the local garage has contacted TW I think and they have emailed Hymer in Germany. I don’t hold out much hope so I am adding strings to my bow. If you think you can do it send me your address and I will post the pieces. Thanks

Aguti will not deal with the public, and not very good through dealers either. I needed a seat belt retractor (bit on left that seatbelt clips into) and had to figure out what make and part it was. Although the the Hymer is on Fiat base, the seats are Aguti, after quite a bit of trawling the web I narrowed that part down to Ford Focus Mk2.
