Far from it. Very good. Unfortunately my husband had a stroke and is unable to drive a motorhome, so it had to be sold. !!

I asked because I have had several issues with mine, mainly the cigarette lighter socket spitting it out because the springs on the plug were too strong. Now use it with a USB cable and adapter.
