Just wondering if this organisational is any good for an Italian trip! anybody ever joined ?

We did try a couple, if I remember a bit like French Passion, but with a different slant.

We are in Sicily at the moment and have been in Italy for three weeks. We have the app and have used it twice, found many sites only functioning April-Oct and three times had "closed for season" responses while "open all year" in the app. The app has a booking system and the hosts do get a message on their phones, but they don't seem to respond to it. They do, however, respond to WhatsApp messages. Maybe it'll work better in season but disappointing at present (January '24) compared to our experience with France Passion and with Nortrip (Norway). It also seems to be a relatively new app so possibly still teething problems.

In summary, and other options:

• Agricamper: disappointing
• SFS only so-so, not widely used here.
• Park4night works, has many German reviews
• Campercontact good, with mainly reviews from Dutch people, in English
• Caramaps is also being used, by Italians it seems.
• Last but not least: "sosta camper" in Google maps - there are loads of them and they're pretty good, including the reviews.
