At present we are in Potes ,on the way I stopped for LPG but my Spanish adapter would not screw in,when I inspected it and the thread as the start have a burr on them
I am tempted to carry on screwing it in with the aid of a spanner but afraid I might mess up the threads on the van

File the burr off? Dress the thread - small triangular fine file from a hardware shop, there’s one in the centre of Potes High Street with a mega display of knives in the window.

Thanks, had these adapters for years,this was the 1st time for the Spanish one
We are going into Potes tomorrow so I will have a look
We are at present on a campsite just outside of Potes, probably stay here until Wednesday or Thursday unwinding.
