Advice needed for buying an RMB 670

Ok going down to have a look at this Rmb 670 2.9turbo diesel next weekend is there anything in particular I should watch out for?

How often should a 93 Mercedes automatic gearbox be serviced?

Check the chassis for rust, but the RMB bodies are usually well built, some being customised per customer. The old 2.9 merc engine and box is a solid old lump that will perform over a million miles. service every 2 years, more if in a cold or hot and dusty environment

What about the gearbox filter and fluid?
Googled the heck out of it and found nowt!

if I recall gearbox filter and fluid change at 4 year intervals. Last one I had was ex fire service so had been changed more frequently. I have a digital copy of the service manual somewhere I think
