Hi there,

Been on the site for just over a year now since we bought our first MH, my first post on here and looking for some advice is possible. I am looking to replace our current MH and have been looking and interested in the Adria Sonic A class. Is there anyone out there who either has one or had one, would be great to hear your views and experience

Many Thanks and fingers crossed

Loll

Hi, we’ve just bought a new to us 2014 Adria Sonic i700 SL plus. We love it, it’s a quality bus. Ours is the 3L auto rated at 4250kg LHD. Only had 14 nights in it but we’ve grown to really like it in a short time. It drives really good, with NO discernible rattles, the only flaw is the lack of worktop space but we just use the table.
Where you buying it from?

Ady

Hi,

Thanks for the update, I have seen 2 that i am interested in both 17 and 18 plates, read as much as possible but you cant beat feedback from owners or previous owners. I had heard that the 14/15 plates vehicles were really well built but was unsure on the latest models ?
Cheers

Coming from my first van (British Elddis) everything seems very well put together and solid. I wanted a van with a garage and some winterisation, and most of the German makes around that year/spec was out of my budget, but I’ve always liked the Adria’s since before I bought the Elddis, don’t ask me why I didn’t buy one, ok I’ll tell you, Mrs Westy liked the big kitchen area in the brit vans thinking she was gonna cook all the time and entertain, but no, she realised that wasn’t going to happen, but hey ho, here we are with the Adria and very happy with it. I’m sure you would be very happy with it should you get one?

Got to say its the garage for me and cant say the Mrs will win Masterchef ;) I am in a Bailey now and just feel that its not for me long term and I want to get to Europe this year, conditions permitting.

Great advice though #WESTY66

Much appreciated.....

I’m sure this is the case with the coach built ones which I believe are built in a different factory, we had a 2010 Matrix supreme and loved it and thought the quality was spot on. When looking for our new van in February Adria was our first port of call and in our opinion the coach built ones aren’t as good. A friend who isn’t on the forum bought a brand new Coral last year and had nothing but trouble with it to the extent he’s trying to return it as unfit for purpose.

Hi Loll I don’t know about getting to Europe this year but really hope so, we’re booked in Germany for a few Xmas markets in December, fingers crossed. The garage is great, it’s heated if you want it to be or you can turn the flap off. It’s well big enough for us, infact I’m having trouble filling it (unless I put a couple of pushbikes in, or buy a small 125 scooter??) I forgot to add that the previous owners upgraded to an Adria 810SL twin axle Moho and are apparently delighted with it (18 plate). Personally I wouldn’t hesitate buying a 17,18 plate if I could afford one.???
I’m sure the other German manufacturers all have decent mohos along the same lines/designs albeit they might be a fraction more money for the same spec, you pays your money and takes your choice. There’s good and bad with most manufacturers but continentals tend to be better. Good luck with whatever you choose?

I could be well jealous of a 17,18 plate but I’m genuinely happy with my 63 plate. Hope it’s everything you want and expect?
