Adria Compact

Good morning folks
We have just put a £2000.00 refundable deposit on a new an Adria Compact Supreme DL with “Swindon Caravans”.
Firstly,I was just wondering if anyone out there has had dealings with them and if so, what can you tell us about them?
Are there any Compact owners out there that can tell us the good and bad points to look out for.?

A friend has just bought one and is very pleased with it, though they were surprised, and disappointed, that it doesn’t have a step.

They waited 18 months for delivery, though I believe Adria supply is better now.

Are there any Compact owners out there that can tell us the good and bad points to look out for.?

We have owned our Adria Compact SC (Island Bed) for just over two years now.
Build quality is very good and we have had very few problems.
The narrow body and the short arm mirrors really make a difference when driving on narrow roads.
Our garage is a good size but quite low due to the island Bed. I think the DL will have a taller garage.
Some Adria's had water leaks on the plumbing caused by faulty Reich Uniquick fittings.
This appears to have been resolved from 2021/22 and we have had no problems to date.
Overall a great motorhome with a footprint not much bigger than a Ducato van (but much bigger inside)
Ours is the white version (with grp sides) which is no longer built. Yours will be silver with aluminium sides.

Also, they don't come with a spare wheel. I keep one in the garage but it takes up quite a lot of space.
If it only has one leisure battery you will need to fit a second, as the fridge is a compressor fridge.

Hello again
Delivery is due mid April and a written order form thanx.
The reason we chose the compact is purely to drive on narrow roads and discover more places.
I will be selling our LHD Dethleffs Trend 7057 in early March if anyone is interested
