Hi I have 215/70/R15 CP Michilen Agilis Cross Climate on my 6m motorhome. What should the correct pressure be? I also do carry a 130kg motorbike on a rack? So would it be advisable to have more pressure in the rear tyres when doing so. If so how much more? Thanks

Oh here we go again 😃.

If you search tyre pressures, then there are literally dozens of threads on the subject and everyone has there own opinion as to what suits them over pressure.

Also, what does your manual say. I have the same tyres on my Autotrail and run 80psi all round. I don’t think you need to increase this for the bike, so hope this helps.

I believe that 80 psi is also the max advised pressure.
Really you need the axle weights to determine the correct pressures.
Your tyre load rating does not allow for your rear axle to be over 2ton.

However, Michelin will always quote 80 psi in the rear for your tyres.

80 on the back. If you have any fillings in your teeth, and you wish to keep them, try reducing the fronts to 60.
As has been said, lots of existing threads on here which you may find useful.

The only definitive way of knowing is direct from the tyre manufacturer who will need to know the exact model of tyre, the vehicle it is fitted to and an accurate weighbridge reading. Anything else is pure conjecture, but unfortunately not all manufacturers are helpful - I believe Michelin just say 80psi all round, regardless.

But of course there are a couple of sites that do suggest the "right" pressures for a given load and are probably accurate - maybe they've got direct info from the manufacturers. Whatever, you use that information at your own risk.

Of course it's only relevant when it comes to a point of law, for example in the event of an accident that is attributable to incorrect tyre pressures. I don't think I've ever seen reports of this being tested in a court of law.

When I fitted assisted rear suspension, alloy wheels and new all-season tyres I contacted the tyre manufacturer (Continental) who came back with a couple of questions then quoted me a set of pressures to use, a quote which I keep with the vehicle documents in case there is ever any question about my tyre pressures - which of course in over 12 years there never has been!
