Hi All,
Just a little word of caution for those adding to the existing Truma solar panels on the Elddis range. I was adding another 120w panel and prepped for the event getting multi connector MC4 branches to use with the existing wiring. Up I go on the roof today and discover that Truma are still using the now regarded as obsolete MC3 connectors on my 14 month old van. Fortunately, I have spare MC4 connectors, so sitting on the roof I swapped the old connectors for MC4s (including the obligatory fitting of the incorrect internal contact in the MC4 connector ) and glued the new panel down. So at 3pm I was getting a dizzying 0.4A, instead of 0.2A
Anyway, if upgrading a Truma panel just check that the connectors fitted aren't MC3s.
