Has anyone added a bike alarm to their motorhome by extending the motorhome alarm system using a cable that if cut to remove the bike would sound the alarm?

Any recommendations please?

I am even considering a stand alone alarm 'cable' which is permanently on independently of the motorhome alarm?

VanBitz have that option with their alarms

We had a bike loop alarm on our last van, ordered with the alarm when fitted, used it twice once when we first got the van and about a year later to remind ourselves how to use it. Never found it practical to use it regularly.

We now use a bike alarm cable separate to the van alarm, mainly as it is easy😁.

Yes, done that with my Sigma alarm , but you don't state which alarm you have fitted. The cable needs to activate the alarm when the circuit to ground is interrupted, i. e cut or disconnected.
