I did buy a Bluetooth to rca phono adapter for my excellent but ancient hi-fi system which worked extremely well. I can switch between normal hi-fi to outputting from the phone, say from iplayer. It makes it much more usable.

I had an old bose sound dock that only accepted a very old mos player brought back to life by having one fitted. Very pleased with it

I'm surprised at the quality. No Bluetooth hissing at reasonable volumes. Or is that UNreasonable volumes (wife says)!
