3 years 30,000 miles UK and Europe.. Campsites and off Grid.
When I first filled up with Adblue in August 2021 I bought a 10L container from Screwfix for £9.99. On my recent trip across Europe I filled up 3 times - anything from 1.70 - 2 Euros a Litre.

Now back in the UK I just checked - the cheapest I can find from a major retailer in the UK now is £25 for 10 litres in Screwfix. (£20 online from zoro.co.uk - but never heard of them before ??)

Not sure what pump prices are in the UK but has it really more than doubled in price in the last 14 months?

Paid £1 a litre at the pump last week

99.9p at BP pump - end of August.

I passed adblue at my local garage & at the pump yesterday it was 1,47€/litre. If i had it fitted it would be the first thing deleted.

It is now more expensive than diesel at the pump. Gone from 69p to 2.00£ per litre

I know I live in a rural area, but I have never seen an Adblu pump at any of my local forecourts.

When I bought my Movano to convert 5yrs ago I asked salesman if it was euro5 or euro6...
You are very very lucky it is by a couple of months still a euro5.....
You really do not want a euro6 as the adblue they require will do the same as everything else and only rocket in price once it gets more popular...
Maybe should go back and ask if he has next week's lottery winning numbers.🤣

Adblue cost price has gone up again in the last couple of weeks and is still due to increase in the future.
Russia is the culprit seemingly, as it supplies the bulk of the main ingrediant ??

Yep whilst urea is a very energy intensive process using natural gas the main world supplier is Russia.
Whilst Yara has a couple of European plants most still comes from Russia. I used to be involved in shipping it as a raw material for making UF resins for the chipboard industry.
Thing is that urea has many uses and therefore demands on it as a raw material. So the EU has made a big mistake with enforcing software that stops the vehicle if the adblue system doesn’t work for whatever reason.

My ad blue system was deactivated by the previous owner, didn't realise until I took it to VW for another issue and they offered an Ecu software update, I obliged and since then my engine management light has been on. It still runs fine but I will need to get it fixed.

If it’s not started the count down timer then you’re ok. Although the EML is an MOT failure.

We buy from Zorro, the motorhome is still running so it must be ok. They were the cheapest we could find.

Always much cheaper at the pump
Not very much it appears. Depends on where you source it of course. Also it's not always available at all garages.
