AdBlue price!

That's a good price. I've just paid £1.29 per litre from the pump, and your price is pretty much comparable. Slightly cheaper in fact.

£22.50 for 5 gallons in our local Sainsburys, needless to say I didnt buy it.
Where are those Adblue Pumps when you need one, keeping eyes peeled as the pump is much easier than using a funnel and lifting up a big heavy container. Knowing my luck they are on The Motorways at twice the price!

Great big 5 Gallon plastic containers on the forecourt, next to the screen wash.
They had to look up the price as they hadn't sold many of that size, but plenty of the 5 litre that comes with a funnel apparently.

Is that the Sainsburys at Watchmoor Park and can i just recheck 5 gallons and not 5 litres.
I might go past Water Lane (closer to home) and see if they have that offer on.

Yes it was Sainsburys at Watchmoor Park, but please check as the young guy on the till didnt exactly give me much confidence when he said he didnt even know what AdBlue was, or that it was for diesel cars only.
Thinking maybe I should have taken advantage of the situation now as it was cheap, but I would rather use an Adblue Pump, when I find one.
PS: not had to any Adblue to our 2.0ltr BMW in 4 years, it must be getting low, but no indications on the dash as yet.🤞

Silly question (I assume) - but do the Adblue pumps work the same way as the petrol pumps; in that they auto-cut off when the tank is full ?

I believe they would, but yet to find one in our local area, only noticed them on a motorway run in the van, and that fortunately doesn't need Adblue added.
Aldi had large Car Plan containers outside the local shop last week, as usual no visible price showing, looked on line and it says "Now Discontinued" If they are still there, I will have to ask I guess.

Think you will find they are 2 gallons circa 10 litres) otherwise they will be too heavy to pick up at 50 lbs weight. (y)

The forecourt AdBlu dispensers that I've used all have standard ZVA nozzles same as a normal fuel dispenser (just a narrower nozzle to fit into the AdBlu tank), and have cut out automatically.

They don't fit very far down into the Ducato tank though so I've been careful to fill quite slowly to give it chance to cut off when it reaches the level.
