Acsi card 2022

We're still in France after being in Spain for a few weeks. We have used ACSI twice, once in Spain for 22 Euros. It was a saving but we still thought it expensive for what we got. The second time for a stay of 12 nights on a lovely campsite in Millau. The price was 12 euros a night with a few centimes a night tourist tax on top. Excellent value for money and a big saving on the advertised price. We were reluctant to leave. You can read about it here https://lovemotorhoming.com/east-or-west-north-or-south/

We are about to set off for France/Spain next week. We have booked 12 nights mid-holiday(unusual, but on right on the beach) and we will save over €100 by using the ACSI which they have said they will accept.

Just wondering the same thing. Do people here think the ACSI card is worth it?
Yes, most definitely, we are just back from a France trip and used it on all sites, in fact we couldn't work out why there were dozens of M/ Homes rammed into an air paying 15€ a night when we were on lovely campsite and paying 16€ with nice loo's and showers......... buggers belief

We always use acsi and have done for years. In Spain at the moment. We've noticed a lot of sites have limited us to 4kw of electric per night. One or two have moved from the price bracket in the book to a higher one. But generally it's still been good value.

I bought this year for our trip to Germany, we are currently in Garmisch Partrikirken. Thing is when packing only brought the one book for this half of Europe. I have now discovered the card is in the book I left at home. So another waste of money but my own fault.

We used it at a site in Germany and Austria with no additional charges. However one site in Austria charged a supplement for electricity. All sites charged tourist tax as an extra

Just wondering about buying the ACSI book- we used to use it a lot before covid and this will be our first trip to france since then.
Puzzled as the site we fancy, having used it before, wants to charge us for a second person which under the old acsi would have been included.
Has anyone got a moment to look up a campsite for me as a pm and tell me what the acsi rate is please? Camping Lot et Bastides at Pujols nr villeneuve sur Lot.
Many thanks
Mike & Ann

Mike800966 there is no campsite with that name on current ACSI and none at Pujols itself. Hope this helps

if you search ACSI on the internet it shows you which sites are discount scheme members I believe

Thats intriguing because they use the acsi logo on their website. Perhaps its just acsi inspected now rather than a full membership, from what I read acsi charge the site quite a lot of money.
Thank you for looking
Oh, I meant to say that for 14 nights some of which is in August and sept, the average cost is 20 euro a night, so perhaps that in line with a good acsi charge, I can remember when the acsi rate was 13 a night!

Used ours 6 times this year so far, but haven't been away as often as we normally do.

Used ours at Arena Blanca, Benidorm last week and now at Didota in Oropessa. Both charged the Book Price and honoured the 7=6 discount. Moving on to Peniscola next thursday.

We are currently using ACSI in Germany and Italy.

As an example a very nice site in The Black Forest was 18 Euro for 2 of us plus electric the going rate was 25 or 27 Euro.

Italian sites can be very expensive so we think it can give you good savings. Each to to their own.

Another thumbs up for ACSI card. In Brittany and paying €16 a night with EHU. Nice.

Using mine all over the continent, just can’t use it here in Croatia as I have had a premium pitch (sea front) booked from 2019 and have only just being able to come👍 But broadly speaking the acsi card is warmly welcomed over here in Europe👍👍

We have just had five weeks in Spain. No problem using the card and all discounts as stated honoured.

So I dropped acsi mailed them umpteen times to get conformation of cancellation
I also have tried to cancel my subscription several times, even asking for confirmation.
I have heard nothing at all from them

The reports of successful ACSI are very interesting. A caravanning family urged me to get it way back when I bought the MH, but it turned out that we're largely tied to school hols which rules out the discount, so I never did and have mainly stuck to free or low cost pitches, often not selecting EHU to further save.

Might rethink now that I see the positivity!

We have not used the card since 2019.
Are funsters using it in 2022 already?
Are sites accepting it at the agreed prices or are they applying any supplements due to the cost of living rises affecting everything else?
Have any funsters got updates to previous answers to these question?

I used it as per #32, and it was accepted at face value. We also went to a site at L’Hospitallet/ Rocamadour, they said they used to use ACSI, but it was too much hassle, and they are now cheaper (€27 for two nights, all facilities - cf CAMC!)

Used the card touring in Spain for 4 weeks May June this year. Always honoured at stated price with occasional local tourist tax added. Great value.

Used the card in June France and Spain.
All honoured card. Noticed that some sites didn't accept for Fiestas ie San Juan and some finished offering rate last week in June. All shown in book .

Used it this year March/April when travelling route through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Italy and back up through France. Great value and as always each year have never had a problem re charges indicated by ACSI.
