Accessing My Messages - Help please...

I can see I have a few messages but cannot figure out how to access them.

If I click on the Inbox tab, there is only one conversation showing up and if I click on the number of messages, nothing happens.

I have tried closing everything down and restarting; no joy and have searched all through my profile page and everywhere I can think of but still no joy.

Any clues, please?

OR am I misunderstanding Messages?

I thought a number by Messages meant you had that many messages in your Inbox; perhaps it means something else, e.g. emails sent to alert you to a reply to a thread or even just the reply in the thread?

If it has a number on it you have a new message on that converation, click on conversation an d scroll down. sometimes does not clear unless you reply.

The Conversation showing up only has one of one, so to speak.

Have managed to save a screenshot to pdf, herewith attached... you'll see what I mean there, I hope.

But if you look to right of my so-far blank avatar, apparently I now have 7 Messages.

All that means is that you have posted 7 messages on the forum and 8 people have responded in one way or another. It is nothing to do with the number of conversations in your InBox. You only have 1 conversation.
