Todays episode, The Air ceased to work at some point in the last few weeks but only showed itself as it does when you need it most, well I went and checked both the fuses listed in the manual (more on that in a bit) meter says OK, I had the System regassed, to say the guy was busy would be an understatement, he had 6 machines lined up down the side of his workshop and a queue of waiting victims, only £35 though, still no joy though, back to base and I check out the pump, I put 12v to it and got the clunk, I spun the pump to make sure it was free, so then i turn my attention to the heater controls, maybe the switch is US took dash apart to get to it, I looked on Ebay a new switch £250!!!, I put power pin to pin and still nothing not the switch then, now I'm getting cross and think right lets double check, back the the fuses, cover off the in cab set and study manual, yep fuse 39 second 1 in from left bottom row
I check it again, summat up its supposed to be 10 amp and mines 15, theres a 10 amp next to it, it is then that I see something amiss, the manual shows a 5 by 5 grid, mine is a 6 by 5 so I pull the 10 amp out and yup its blown, swap it for a new one and wayhey we have cold air, now I just have to reassemble it all
