looking for my first
Hello everyone. Brand new member here. I’m looking at buying a vehicle I can work out of as well as use for a motorhome, assuming I can keep it filled up with LPG for its fuel, to keep running costs down. Problem is I live in London.

Does anyone have any knowledge of LPG refuelling sites in London? I’m only aware of old Kent road MFG BP and the two Morrisons in north east London - Chingford and Enfield. Is there a website or map I can use to check? Maybe an app? Surely there are more sites than this. If you’ve lived in London you’ll know that driving 2 miles here is like 15-20 elsewhere, so travelling to one of these if you’re not nearby can take over an hour.

Anyway if this is the state of play I need to rethink the whole thing and may have to put my mororhoming plans on hold til I can afford an electric powered vehicle or they bring in hydrogen fuelled motors.

TIA xxx

It might help if we know whereabouta you are in London. No good giving you LPG near Hillingdon if you are in Bromley.

myLPG.eu is your app.

You won't need to fill up really often, surely?

Sadly stations are disappearing but not an issue.

We just look at the app when we are driving and fill up when convenient rather than waiting until its really desperate.

Also I think many black cabs still run on LPG. Might be worth talking to local taxi companies.
