Got the charger but don’t understand the wiring instructions?

It’s got one positive terminals for hab and one for vehicle battery, that’s easy, then a 0v terminal, do I earth that to vehicle chassis or what?

I’d assumed I’d just wire up to positive and alternate negative on the habitation battery, then there would be a positive and negative out of the unit for the vehicle battery.

Any pointers please?

Hi Harvey, 0v to shunt or common earth if no shunt.

Wait until you try understanding programming the modes function.

+1 on the common negative as both batteries should share the same one.
Did you get the BT option to program it? If so be aware as of two weeks ago the options between the IOS and the Android App are different and the Android App dropped some of the preset options but IOS retained them. Android may have been updated now but it threw me for a short while.
Much easier to program different options with the BT unit for storage etc.

No shunt, I’m assuming I’m just looking for a earth from Hab to chassis and I’ve a common earth!

Didn’t have a clue on the instruction for selecting one of the eight options, but I’ll cross that bridge later!

If you have a B2B, then piggybacking your AMT12-2 onto the B2B terminals is your best option, as you can make use of the heavier cabling to reduce voltage drop.
