Ablemail AMT 12-2 connections through EBL

I'm planning to connect up the Ablemail to trickle charge the vehicle battery. Previously I had a Votronic Duo which performed this function through pin 2 on Block 6 of my EBL 101. The Votronic has unfortunately failed. Could I still use this Block 6 pin 2 to connect the +ve from the Ablemail that supplies the vehicle battery? On their diagram they have it attached at the B2B but this isn't so convenient for me because of it's location.
