Aachen stop over

Hi all I don’t know if anyone knows the Stellplatz at Aachen? We’ve stayed there several times, always arriving in the day, but this time we are going to be getting there around 11pm and I know there are gates but are they ever closed at night and if so what time?

Brings back nightmares flew to Bavaria and drove our first and new 8.7m van back on German third party only insurance, though the Aachen Stelplatz looked like an easy park up for the nightroad works everywhere and then they had dug up the road outside so I had to go up on the verge and pavement to get inlovely chap there who runs the site and they do nice bread and pastries in the morning
