I don’t understand all the fuss, the one good thing about shit is? It washes off.

The same applies when you are paying for site facilities (toilets/sinks/showers etc) so why not use them.I really don't get it, how you can pay for something then not use it.

My mate used to be like that, him and his misses would put a cork in it until they found a restaurant for lunch.I wonder how many MH builders get requests to substitute the toilet/shower for a wine cellar?
What do people do half way through a journey if they need a shit? Hold it till the next MacDonalds or Tesco 50 km down the road?
I do expect answers from those who will not use their loos for that.
Geoff
PS. Having a SOG we also don’t use those expensive and ‘orrible smelling chemicals either. :) [/QUOTE said:You just pass the smell onto your neighbours!
We have a seat belt fitted in the loo so still legal on the move
Our SOG outlet is on the roof so the nasty nifs drift over our near neighbours and descend on to those a little further away. You just pass the smell onto your neighbours!
If the roof lights open you get your own back. Our SOG outlet is on the roof so the nasty nifs drift over our near neighbours and descend on to those a little further away.
Our neighbours get the blame, not us.
Richard.
Depends on what we have to wash, BBQ bits, greasy pots, much easier to do in the larger sinks with provided hot water, more space too especially for those with little or no draining room, washing up for 5 is a nightmare in our little sink.I also couldn't believe the people taking their dishes up to do them in sinks
Yesssss... but why ?We didn't use the shower either in our caravan... always used the site facilities
Perhaps if we ever try wild camping with a MH we might be forced into a rethink
Aye I don't have 5 folks washing up to do..Depends on what we have to wash, BBQ bits, greasy pots, much easier to do in the larger sinks with provided hot water, more space too especially for those with little or no draining room, washing up for 5 is a nightmare in our little sink.
Because SWMBO decided she preferred to use the on site facilities... go figureYesssss... but why ?
I would much prefer to know who's but had been there before me !Because SWMBO decided she preferred to use the on site facilities... go figure
Why is it strange?How strange.
I was actually amazed while on that aire in albufera yesterday just how many people with motorhomer trundle off to the toilet and use their showers.
I'd much rather use my own facilities.
I also couldn't believe the people taking their dishes up to do them in sinks
Madness
It's a cadac not a real BBQ so does need a swill, we stopped eating at a freinds house after seeing them give the paella pan to the dog after we had had ours. Put John right off.Aye I don't have 5 folks washing up to do..
Dogs clean greasy pots and I would never wash a bbq it's like a wok not meant to be washed ....cleaned with fire lol
Ha ha the dog just cleans the food scraps off before it gets a proper wash. Makes washing up easier though the waters still clean when I'm finished ?It's a cadac not a real BBQ so does need a swill, we stopped eating at a freinds house after seeing them give the paella pan to the dog after we had had ours. Put John right off.
Far nicer to use your own facilities knowing only the two of us have used them. Public toilets are only for emergencies. Why is it strange?
