Are we in France? The mistletoe would suggest we are.

But no, we are on the Southwick Farm CL a little south of Tewkesbury. Where the blue blob is on the map below and under a mostly blue sky!

We had a slow trip up the M5 yesterday from Plymouth with heavy traffic in places, mostly, according to Google Maps due to accidents although by the time we crawled to the scene of the accident everything had been cleaned away.

We are supposed to be in the field.

But it is waterlogged. The farmer says he hasn't been able to put a tractor on his fields since early October and several fields haven't been planted.

It is possible to walk into Tewkesbury from here but the path was very damp so we drove to a supermarket instead. :)

Charlie is not entirely sure what's going on.

Why we are here in the UK instead of France or Spain is due to paint. Which Mrs DBK says needs replacing around the windows and I've been delegated to redecorate our outhouse, known as "the shed" where I do my ham radio stuff. This all means we have to stay in the UK. Apparently. Hmmmmm.....

But we are heading into Yorkshire tomorrow. If we are not heard from again you know where to send the search parties. :)

Weather looks good there? I'm going to Upton-upon-Severn on Monday but I bet it rains

You might get showers according to the forecast but compared to recent weeks this is a drought! :) Twenty four (and a bit more) hours without rain here have made quite a difference.

God's own country 😁

CAMC Tewkesbury cancelled our booking last weekend due to likelihood of flooding! So heading of down to Marazion for a few days now half term is over, even so our riverside plot booking is not available! At least no rain in the forecast at last!

It’s looking more settled here but the wind will still be chilly…😎

Treat yourself & stay for the night 😉
Donny’s a cracking night out, especially Flairs 😎🍺🍺🥂🍾🍷🥳
……and for “Fine Dining”……experience a fabulous lunch at the “DN1” restaurant. You can watch the Chefs prepare the food and they will chat with you about what they are doing. Not cheap, but a great experience…..much like you might find in the top spots in London, but at half the price.

An interesting fact about Doncaster…. It has one of the 3 Mansion Houses in England. The other two are at York and the City of London.
