Well, I am not even thinking about leaving until Monday (sometime).. but this morning Sunday 10.30 there is a sea of flashing (as in hazard flashing lamps) all over the fields.. one by one the mud waltz has stared in ernest.. not sure if the tractors are helping, as they tow each one off there drag the metronome through mud and more and more farrows appear. Water is now settling on the ground where we are and even what was supposed (more like a French country lane) roadway are a washing.. does not help with the motorhome driving I have been watching.. as soon as they are disconnected... I am all right jack... and waves of water flying up off there wheels as they escape.. the water flies high and back on to the edges of the field which creates more problems for motorhomes and the tractors.

May be wrong, but I have not seen a single Motor Home Fun member get off the field this morning with out the aid of the tractor.

As we know Rick's 40' 18 ton FLEETWOOD (Not a Winnebago) had to be towed across the filed backwards yesterday.. I could loose my disabled scooter down the farrows he made.. most RV's have to be towed backwards due to the fact the skirts at the front do not allow for a front haul out. Currently Ben is stuck.. the tractor's wheels are now spinning .. the tractor is not making an indent on his RV... (smaller red tractor).. waiting now for the big GREEN one .. Oh well another morning at MHF lake.

Bob p.s Ezzie managed to cross her legs from 9 p.m last night until 10 a.m. this morning and was forced to go out to do her call of nature.. boy that was fast .. the wind is high and the rain is very very heavy.. I suspect few have gone to the show today.. a few lonely souls emptying there toilets.. boy that is not nice in this weather.. Lucky for those with Black holding tanks:Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

Your stuck in the mud reports......

Bob:Blush::cry::Blush::cry::Blush::Doh: .. my turn I suspect tomorrow... due to stop raining around 7 p.m this evening.. if the weather report is right.

Thanks for the update's, I have been following with interets. I thought today would not be worth a visit although I was looking forward to attending as a day visitor with SWMBO and meeting fellow member's and making some purchases. Not to be now, it must be awful out there and will get worse before the end of the day for certain.
Hope you guy's get away OK sounds like you might have to stick it out for a few days at this rate.

That wasn't you causing problems for the tractor then Bob:Rofl1::Rofl1:

You staying till the sun tomorrow?

We let our dogs out at half seven this morning and they had to be kicked out, I then kicked the missis out of bed and went in search of a tractor, I knew it would be carnage today just didnt expect it to be that bad, as we bought everything we needed yesterday, we made an early escape from the mud. Only had 1 argument with the marshal from the brownhills group as he had hijacked the tractor instead of going through the marshals, I told him that it was only fair to get some of his vans off then some of ours. Hope you all get off the fields when you need to, I reckon the tractor drivers are going to make a killing in thank you tips.

No not me...

No not me that was Ben that has problems, but there is another one down to his body work and I hear special lifting gear is needed for him.

I am staying until tomorrow.. going to Lincoln for the service..

When the rain stops I may come out of the RV.. cannot use the scooters in this mud... hope the rain stops as indicated, although I have it as 7 p.m from the met office.. then some wind.. needs to be stronger to dry it off a bit.. sun due tomorrow.

We are well provisioned and can be here longer if need be... just will mess up meeting I have on Thursday and Friday back South.. but have to have the service and MOT tues/wed.. we will see.

you can always come and visit if you do not mind Ezzie ...

Got a Discovery trying to pull one out! No chance.

Got me out though:Laughing:

Any Photos ?

Can anyone post photos of the Fun?

When you do get off, mind the weather and safe trip home - very strong gusts of wind and horizontal rain in Cheshire at the moment.

Don't envy you at all in these horrendous conditions...hope your vehicles aren't damaged during the towing process. Think we made the right decision to leave the wag at home - discretion being the better part of valour - this time. Good luck all:Eeek:
