A Lesson for other councils?

Seems East Devon Local Council received £78,000 in income from motorhome overnight parking at two of their car parks over a 2 year period. This is the sort thing that councils should be looking to engage with rather than treating us like lepers. I’ve stayed there before and will visit again just before new year. The full report is attached.

Another way of looking at it is . Once they know how much they can get , the council will just wznt more and more.
True. But if you read the document it seems they are planning to invest in infrastructure on the sites. Waste water disposal, toilet facilities etc. I think that anything like this initiative is a plus, however, we are woefully behind our European friends. The other factor is to consider how much the 8097 motorhome owners spent in the local community. I see only benefits for all involved.

Some Scottish councils.... especially South Ayrshire already have this view..👍👍
