Good price, as long as it includes the bit that goes on the TOAD.

It might be useful to check out which small cars are most easily fitted with the A frame bar, if you are going to do it yourself.

Welcome to the contentious world of A framing. Be prepared to be told regularly how you're breaking the law. . . :Eek!:

Cheers

Well done Pappajohn - good buy.

I'm sure you'll love A framing, & wonder how you lived without it.

hi samm. nice to hear from you.:thumb: how you doing?
Now.....you wouldn't be trying to sell me a car by any chance would you.
i e-mailed this guy about wieght so i can get a courier but had no reply yet.
might have to take a trip to southend on sea to collect unless he's really pissed at the price and done a bunk!!!!
found a pub on ukcampsite with hookup/level pitchs about 20mls away so i may go in m/home and stay the night but it wont be cheap and a long, lonely drive on my own, 520 mls round trip/ 25 mpg. around £100 in diesel.:Eeek: ouch, plus whatever camping fee plus food and beer.
becoming not so much a bargain now but still cheaper than £600 for a new one.:Eeek:

see you soon. john.

Well, if it's any help we sent our a-frame to the successful bidder by post. I was lucky, it was just over 20 kilos so only cost 23 quid. I think 40 kilos the price jumped to 60 or 70 quid!

Regards
Doug

hi doug,
thanks for that.
i think these are around 29kg but the guy specified collect in person so he may not have the time/ inclination to parcel it and post at extra cost.
never mind, cant think of anything better than to have a cruise down the motorway and a night away.

john.
