I have a Rapido M66 which is great except for the reflection I get in the side cab windows which on a bright sunny day can almost completely obscure my view behind. The window is like a mirror reflecting the view out of the front screen which in heavy traffic can be very distracting as it looks like moving vehicles in the driving mirrors when quickly checking behind especially at roundabouts.
I'm wondering if this is just my van or if other owners have had the same problem and if so have you found a way to reduce the reflection?

It can be a lot worse if the side windows are double glazed.

Yep. Problem for my Frankia with double glazed side windows. I tried Matt - ifying spray but no good.
Omniview 360 helps to a certain respect.

Our last le voyageur with double glazed side windows was bad, at times it was so bad that when joining motorways abroad I had to rely on the passenger to look back.
I think it all depends on how flat/curved the windows are.

Yes, exactly the same problem here. I solved it with heavily tinted perspex screens mounted on sat nav suction panels. It was fine until you needed to lower the bed or close the blinds. I ended up with Omnivue 360⁰ from Trailervision and removing the screens. The problem is still there in the wing mirrors, but the camera system sorts that out. Also, it is brilliant when manoeuvring in tight spots.
I still have the perspex and suction holders. If you want them DM me and we can sort put how to get them to you.
Safe and happy travels.

Same on my Hymer. The worst is when I reverse into the barn where I store it. Absolutely blind, sunny or not.
Same with our Hymer (which has double glazed side windows). For reversing on a bright day the passenger has to stand to the side at the rear and call instructions through an open window.

Interesting point - Personally I have never experienced a problem in our N & B Arto.

I have a problem with our N&B Arto (2003) in certain circumstances, e.g. reversing into our dark MH port with the sun reflecting off a very bright yellow wall just one metre alongside the left side of the MH - makes seeing almost impossible, but new reversing camera helps a lot. Hopefully same manoeuvre into garage at new house will be easier in absence of yellow wall.

Not noticed a problem with my A-class. The mirrors are the 'coach' type, mounted high and very close in to the side window glass almost touching it and next to the thick front pillars, if there's any reflection on the windows a lot of it would be of the dark interior of the cab, the dark pillars and underside of the overcab bed as I'm sitting somewhat lower than the mirrors.
