A Class cab doors

Not common at all, we have a Burstner Iexo 736 (2019) cab door N/S front hab door offside about midway.
not really much point to have a drivers door and a hab door on the one side as it restricts the layout though there are some that do. As ours is German the cab door is on the passenger side as it would be the drivers door if LHD.

I have never felt the need for a driver side door. The habitation door is easier to use and I like the shelf and space next to me. Can’t say I have ever noticed any rh drives with a rh door but I guess they do exist. I don’t think it was an option on my Carthago Compactline.

Some old Hymers around 2005 did but not common.
Carthago's have a drivers door as standard it's an option on Hymers, a lot of A Class vans don't have an option for any cab doors.

A drivers door is not really important we have one but I only use it for fuel stops rest of the time we use the hab door.

My Mobilvetta 190 Euroyacht has 2 cab doors and a hab door.
It's 2001 so getting on a bit.
Not seen any other A class vans with 2 cab doors
I think it's wise to have a door on both sides

Had no passenger or driver on one A-class, and only a passenger door on our other two A-classes. The step down from the cab is steep and probably needs a step like the habitation door. My missus refuses to use the cab door unless it is absolutely needed. Some motorhomes, such as Lenny mentioned, can have two cab doors as an option.

We have only a habitation door and do not feel a need for a cab door.

Barclaybasher said it was wise to have a door on each side: I assume he was thinking of escape routes in event of a fire. My thinking is that my foot would easily smash an acrylic window if I did not have time to open it fully. If we were in our fixed bed at the rear and there was a fire in the living area the windows(3) would be our only escape routes.

I looked at A class vans a long time ago when my late wife was in a wheelchair. One, I think it was a Burstner had just a hab door, on the offside.
The only way I could have safely gotten her into the van in the UK was by parking against the traffic.
Having 2 cab doors which extend to the full width of the van + a hab door attracted me to this van.
Just having a hab door- not for me - many (like mine) have an electric step -if that fails.......

I’m not sure how old you are going but the Laika H720/680 Ecovips had driver and passenger doors.

2 cab doors and you can always step out of the cab onto a pavement - not into the traffic

Sorry for my assumption about fire. Your wheelchair requirement was different.

Our Arto hab door is on RH side(continental style) but as we now live and tour on the Continent we are usually pavement side.
