I looked at A class vans a long time ago when my late wife was in a wheelchair. One, I think it was a Burstner had just a hab door, on the offside. We have only a habitation door and do not feel a need for a cab door.
Barclaybasher said it was wise to have a door on each side: I assume he was thinking of escape routes in event of a fire. My thinking is that my foot would easily smash an acrylic window if I did not have time to open it fully. If we were in our fixed bed at the rear and there was a fire in the living area the windows(3) would be our only escape routes.

The only way I could have safely gotten her into the van in the UK was by parking against the traffic.
Having 2 cab doors which extend to the full width of the van + a hab door attracted me to this van.
Just having a hab door- not for me - many (like mine) have an electric step -if that fails.......
