- fiat swift 696
Hello to all, been fun reading the posts on this forum.
My basic story is we have a 2011 swift 696 on a Fiat base, bought it last year and really can't afford it any longer. Had a damp check done and need to get it sorted before any sale.
So the back corner below the garage door has leaked and rotted some wood, can see the fixing at the bottom are rusty too. My plan is to peel away the top layer of ply on the floor, the same on the walls to a certain height and then replace the wood with the same. Around the edges are perhaps structural pieces? I'll have to figure out how to remove that as well and replace, maybe have to remove the skirts and undo from the outside? The door seal will need replacing too
If anyone has any extra advice on this task I would appreciate it, as I couldn't afford to get a professional in, although I consider myself quite handy I'm no pro.
