We have ours done already when we got a six month visa in March. Like Fatboy says, there are many other Countries that require the same sort of thing. Its just the MSM having a bash at the EU and France.
This system has been in the pipeline for a while now so we should be prepared. Only issues will be at the school holidays when it is chaos anyway.

6th October… I’m sure it will all be running perfectly smoothly for the schools October break towards the end of the month…:xrofl::eek:
Note to self, don’t go over to Europe for at least a few months from October.

They do. But they are set up for it.

The volume of travellers and the space constraints at Dover, St Pancras and other ports is going to cause long delays.
