Someone forgot to fill the water up before our wild camping stay at Denia. Nearest water 15 miles away and not wanting to lose our space the multi use Vespa took it in its stride. With a visit to the local supermarket. The bread, more water and chicken empanandas are under the seat.

Very handy and I bet you get good mpg !
What model Vespa is it and do you know it’s weight . I have a pull out rear bumper which is a scooter carrier . The manufacturers handbook says it’s limited to carrying a scooter up to 100kg . I suppose anything heavier may cause an issue which steering and rear axle weight .

I've got a similar set up except mine is an electric scooter, range 50 to 60 miles, top speed just under 50, electricity cost less than a penny a mile. Weight 100kg with batteries in, 80kg with them removed.

It's the gts300. 158kgs. Too heavy for your type of rear mount. Great holiday vehicle.

Great spot I was there Friday no problem stayed the night with about 20 odd vans. Police came round Saturday morning and said everyone needs to move off by 9.00 pm. Not sure what happened but quite a few of us left in afternoon as car park was filing up with cars and I was about to be blocked in. Moved onto Moraira and had a cracking day. Fiesta thrown in for us in town. Staying tonight again as had couple of beers. Great big car park all just back from the front.

How easy is it to remove and refit the batteries . I’m trying to find lightest scooter and this looks great . Also do you charge it up on site ok . Doesn’t trip the supply to your van does it ?

Police been around a few times but said nothing. Been full since we arrived Friday. Might stay a while.

Battery removal is easy, just unplug and lift out. 2 batteries; one under floor, one under seat. Charger simply plugs into 13 amp plug.Charge rate is 15 to 20% per hour, at about 4 amps. (Total battery capacity is about 4kwh).
